Chicago Auto Show
The Chicago Auto Show happened recently, and automakers all over the globe brought their wares to the motor show stage to showcase their vehicles. To acknowledge Chicago’s chilly winter weather, Nissan decided to have some fun with the event by bringing along two winter concept cars designed to hold their own in hazardous winter weather. The Nissan Armada Snow Patrol and the 370Zki Roadster both made their debut onstage at the Chicago Auto Show, attracting attention from attendees for their unique designs.
Nissan Armada Snow Patrol winter Concept Cars
The Nissan Armada Snow Patrol is the less adventurous of the two cars. Nissan used a standard Armada for the concept, attaching various accessories and playing with the design to give it a winter-ready twist, including a lift kit for more ground clearance, LED exterior lights, and off-road tires.
Nissan 370Zki Roadster
Meanwhile, the Nissan 370Zki Roadster is essentially a sports car snowmobile in action. Based off a convertible and modified for winter weather, the concept is undeniably experimental, featuring another lift kit and 4-foot-long Dominator Tracks on the wheels.
These winter concept cars from Nissan won’t be making it to the mainstream market, of course, but it’s just one fun example of how automakers can get creative and have fun at auto shows, while still showing off the potential of vehicles like the Nissan Armada and Nissan 370Z.
